I had to do them on my test server because I had no good guide on how to set that up. Are all these steps necessary? Probably not. But doing them will get you the points on the test.<\/p>\n yum -y install nfs rpcbind nfs-utils<\/strong><\/p>\n systemctl enable nfs<\/strong><\/p>\n systemctl enable rpcbind<\/strong><\/p>\n systemctl enable nfslock<\/strong><\/p>\n systemctl start nfs<\/strong><\/p>\n systemctl start rpcbind<\/strong><\/p>\n systemctl start nfslock<\/strong><\/p>\n Nobody says check status. But don’t you really want to know if they run right?<\/p>\n systemctl status nfs -l<\/strong><\/p>\n systemctl status rpcbind -l<\/strong><\/p>\n systemctl status nfslock -l<\/strong><\/p>\n The password worked. The automount of the server hosted home directory did not. That is a server issue.
